I dug deep into my bin of 4.5" square scraps and after a quick pass through the die cutter I set to work on this scrappy hexagon quilt. It's vibrant and fun. I have half of it pieced as it's shown here on the design wall. It will measure 56" X 72" at completion,

Each of these are made from hand embroidered blocks done over a number of years, from the same book: "S is For Stitch" by Kristyne Czepuryk. These were fun to work on; and, like human siblings, each one has its own unique personality! It wasn't until they were both completed that I realized "Brother Bear" was larger than his

If you've ever tried to set up a quilt for outside photography you know that even the slightest breeze will turn your quilt into a giant sail!The location is perfect but the time of day wasn't-- I'll need to be careful in the future to make sure
